Lexical Concordance

Part A — Lemma Concordance

Step 1 — Click “Lemma concordance”

Use this mode when your question concerns a dictionary form/lemma and its New Testament distribution.

Step 2 — Enter your search

Click the Search field. You can search using the available Greek/English/Amharic/Strong's information.

Step 3 — Apply filters if needed

• NT book — restrict the results to a particular book.
• Chapter — restrict further to a chapter.
• Minimum occurrences — hide lemmas below the specified frequency.

Step 4 — Click “Search lemmas”

The result list shows matching lemmas with lexical information and occurrence data.

Step 5 — Read a result correctly

A result can show the Greek lemma, Strong's identifier, English gloss, Amharic meaning, NT occurrence count and linked-verse information.

Step 6 — Open the lemma

Click the lemma result to move to its detail page. There you can inspect the full lemma information and the integrated observed forms/locations that are available.

Worked Lemma example — Χριστός

1. Select Lemma concordance.
2. Type Χριστός.
3. Leave NT book unrestricted for a whole-NT search.
4. Click Search lemmas.
5. Open the Χριστός result.
6. Compare frequency/distribution and then inspect linked contexts.

Part B — Forms & morphology

Step 1 — Click “Forms & morphology”

Use this mode when the question concerns an actual inflected form or morphology.

Step 2 — Enter a Greek form or lemma

The field is labelled Greek form or lemma. For example: Χριστοῦ or Χριστός.

Step 3 — Use the filters

• Corpus authority
• Book
• Chapter
• Morphology — for example N-Gen.

Step 4 — Click “Search forms”

The result groups show the representative Greek surface form, lemma, morphology, token count and verse count.

Step 5 — Open a form result

The form detail page shows its exact integrated token occurrences. Click a biblical occurrence to move into its Interlinear context.

Worked Form example — Χριστοῦ

1. Choose Forms & morphology.
2. Enter Χριστοῦ.
3. If desired, enter N-Gen under Morphology.
4. Click Search forms.
5. Open Χριστοῦ.
6. Compare the verses where that exact integrated form occurs.

Important coverage distinction

The lemma layer is the full NT concordance. The form/morphology layer depends on normalized token-level Interlinear corpora currently integrated into the platform. Do not mistake token-layer coverage for a claim that every NT form has already been integrated.

2. በSearch ሳጥኑ ውስጥ የግሪክ lemma ያስገቡ፤ ለምሳሌ Χριστός።
3. ካስፈለገ NT book፣ Chapter ወይም Minimum occurrences በመጠቀም ፍለጋውን ያጥቡ።
4. Search lemmas ይጫኑ፤ ከውጤቶቹ ውስጥ የሚፈልጉትን lemma ይክፈቱ።
5. የቃሉን frequency፣ ስርጭትና የተያያዙ የመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ክፍሎች ይመልከቱ።
6. አንድን የተወሰነ የተለወጠ ቅርጽ ለማጥናት Forms & morphology ይምረጡ።
7. ለምሳሌ Χριστοῦ ያስገቡ፤ ካስፈለገ Morphology ውስጥ N-Gen ይጠቀሙ።
8. Search forms ይጫኑ፣ ከዚያም የተገኙትን ቅርጾችና ጥቅሶች በየአውዳቸው ያጥኑ።

ማስታወሻ፦ Lemma Concordance የሙሉ አዲስ ኪዳን lemma ደረጃ ፍለጋ ነው። Forms & morphology ግን በመድረኩ ውስጥ ከተዋሃዱት token-level Interlinear corpora ጋር የተያያዘ ነው።
